Jimmy Savile O.B.E. looks at the weekly pop chart from 8th August 1974 and introduces Mud, Paul Da Vinci, The Rolling Stones, Hues Corporation, Bobby Goldsboro, The Glitter Band, Jim Stafford, Sweet Dreams, The Rubettes, George McCrae, Bay City Rollers and a Pans People dance sequence.
Well after 7 weeks of BBC strikes, TOTP is back and what a routine to come back too. In fact almost the perfect flawless routine from PP. You can see that Sue has settled in quite nicely with the other seasoned pros.
Just look at the little sexy sly smile from Sue right at the end...stunning ending to this routine from the sexiest girl on TV...
My own guilty pleasure, and perfect in almost every sense, here's what a couple of members of OFTD had to say.
First from Ryan:-
"Yes its quite simply my favourite routine and holds a special place for me. This is one i remember clearly as a young un due to the fact that TOTPs had been off the air for almost 2 months and this was the first dance when it returned, so i guess its just stuck. I cant say I remember Sues first two appearances back in the day but she instantly became my favourite on seeing her in this. What a great song too, such lovely lyrics. Though one of the more established girls had a few out of sync moments during this, i will let you all work out which one."

"Lovely smooth Dance.... While some of the moves are certainly derived from the Three Degrees' own routine they are quite perfect and these ladies are simply stunning in their cunningly split dresses. As I think Ryan agrees this is for me the quintessential Sue arrival performance even if it came after two other great Dances... Anyway the dancers just float miraculously and look as good as they ever did; I am hypnotized".
Well, that almost sums it up, again thanks to Vin for supplying lazy old me with another moment from the archive, but this time the audio has been enhanced alot..quite alot
