DRUGGED up motorist fails 'worst ever' roadside fitness test ever seen after some of the most dangerous driving on a motorway.
The drugged up driver was spotted in a car drifting in and out of a lane on a motorway in an orange Nissan Qashqai.
At one point he dangerously uses the slip road at the last moment narrowly avoiding cars before cops had seen enough then brought his car to a controlled stop at the sliproad off the M621 in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Shocking bodycam footage shows the jaw-dropping moment of the drugged up driver failing simple tests. In his first two steps, the man lost his balance and fell to the side and continued to wobble on the straight white line.
Chief Inspector Katy Woodmason, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “We know that over the Christmas period there tends to be an increase in family meet-ups, work dos and social gatherings, which can all contribute to an increase in, particularly, drink driving both on the night and the morning after.
“Last year for the first time, potentially due to pubs and bars being closed because of the pandemic, we saw nearly the same amount of arrests for drug driving as drink driving."
