I finally did it! I killed off "Marco in a BOX"...it was a hard decision, but it had to be done. But don't you worry, he's far from gone. Quite the opposite. He didn't die, but came back as two brand new channels: @inevitaly — for all things Italian, and @flowithmarco — for all things personal. Passion and creativity die hard :)

"Marco in a BOX" served me well through the years: he helped me unleash my creativity and allowed me to experiment with it. He taught me how to take myself less seriously, made me discover a comedic side of me I didn't know I had, and also healed my relationship with the motherland (Italy!). He opened many doors for me: fun collaborations, an awesome community of subscribers, and memorable play time with my beloved husband. But eventually — ironically — he made me feel boxed in and a bit claustrophobic! Limited in my self-expression and trapped by my diverse content choices. I don't want to be in a BOX anymore (and its username that doesn't represent me any longer).
But is "Marco in a BOX" really gone? I don't think so...he has faced obstacles, transformed and matured...and he's now ready to transcend into something new. With renewed hope, dedication and creativity.
Join me in wishing him farewell at this symbolic funeral — a wacky celebration of life, rebirth and new beginnings (which also happens to be my first ever short movie!) By the end of the ceremony, you'll find out that Marco is more motivated than ever in continuing his mission to save the world from Italian mispronunciations, creamy carbonaras, bad fashion choices and stressful lifestyles.
And welcome to this new, improved version of him: welcome to @inevitaly — a YouTube channel and web magazine 100% focused on Italy, its language and its culture: pronunciation, food and cocktail recipes, travel tips and lifestyle. Because it's not just a passport: anyone can learn and appreciate the joys of the Italian way of living: good food, good sounds, good places, good people. Check it out at www.inevitaly.com

From now on, there is where I'm going to share my vlogs, personal stories, insights, life and relationship advice, freelancing tips, and world travels.
