as soon as i heard "wrecking ball" in season 2, i thought that it matches daphne and simon's story perfectly. "we kissed, i fell under your spell. a love no one could deny." and while unexpected to them, they "came in like a wrecking ball. [they] never hit so hard in love." all they wanted was to break each others walls, but ended up leaving each other in a blazing fall. we saw their hasty wrecking love grow into a relationship we all love.
