INFINITI IS BACK! I have the 2023 Infiniti QX60 to drive this weekend courtesy of @infinitilebanon and I’m SO happy with Infiniti’s comeback. This is what I call Japanese luxury! Saddle Brown looks impeccable with the black paint and the interior tech is by far the brand’s best. Also, I think it looks HANDSOME. Sharp edges with modern styling are a win for me, rear end looks very futuristic. Did I mention it’s a 7-seater?

They have finally replaced the quirky infotainment system with this quick and high-quality UI displayed on a 12.3-inch screen (it’s the same system as on the Patrol I reviewed last year). Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are wireless and standard. We have wireless phone charging and a camera rear view mirror. The seats have massage, ventilation, and heat settings.
It is powered by a potent 3.5L V6 with 279 HP and 350 N.m of torque. It’s mated to a 9-speed auto and is AWD (2,096 kg). It isn’t underpowered; power delivery is sharp, and brakes are great. 9 gears mean you cruise on the highway at 1,200 rpm. You can’t change AWD settings; it defaults to 100% rear wheels unless needed (then it diverts up to 50:50). It averages around 8.5 km/L. The QX60 lacks adaptive dampers or air springs but the ride is buttery smooth effectively.
I’m so glad I had the chance to review an Infiniti again but the new QX60 transformed completely my perception of the brand. Why would you go for a Range Rover Sport when you can get reliable Japanese luxury for literally half the price! If you ask me, the QX60 is a hit. Nothing to complain, nothing to nitpick. It’s awesome.
