Rural towns are exploiting their rural nature and set up, to attract tourists. One such town is Mthatha in the Eastern Cape. It is the economic hub of the Transkei region and the centre of neighboring towns that are located along the wild coast. Rural dams that are along Transkei villages also offer a unique view for tourists that is completely different to what beaches along urban cities can offer.
