When you step up from your camera phone or a compact to a dSLR, one of the best features is the speed and accuracy of Auto-Focus.
However for most of the time we're only just scratching the surface of what our cameras can do - so in this video I explain a little about One Shot, AI Focus and AI servo Auto-Focus modes.

Canon 600d / T3i dSLR main camera, 1080p, manual exposure (auto ISO, f/2.8, 1/50th on the 40mm pancake), auto white balance.
Audio: Zoom H1 manual levels.
Audio put through Levelator 2 & noise reduction in Audacity.
All edited and synced in Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
