How to Build a Water Wheel at Home for Kids

In this video we show how to build a water wheel. This is a fun science experiment to do at home. A water wheel is a mechanical device that converts the energy of running water into mechanical energy. It has a set of paddles fixed around a cylindrical wheel made of wood or other material. The falling/running water exerts a force on the paddles, and this force makes the wheel to spin. Water wheel is used in many applications including generating electricity, grinding grains, cutting wood, and in hammer mills.
