In normal pregnancy beta hcg
In normal pregnancy beta hcg levels doubles in 48 hours. So if the beta hcg levels are not doubling, or atleast it has to increase by 70% in 48 hours then we have to see the gestational sac. If the gestational sac size is less than your gestational age, we have to repeat the ultrasonography after 7 to 10 days to rule out whether the patient is going in for the missed abortion or any other complication of pregnancy.
