Montessori is all about following and observing the child as well as making things accessible to them so that they can explore, make decisions, and learn. It's very child-directed and hands-on. In doing this, it creates a sense of independence and purpose in children. A lot of parents have taken these principles and implemented them into their homes, making their environments the perfect safe space for their children to explore and have a sense of independence.
