The Texas Rangers held a 3 games to 2 series lead over the Cardinals as the 2011 World Series shifted back to St. Louis. The Rangers offense continued to put up runs throughout the game, but their pitching would be unable to hold multiple leads. Their bullpen blew a 9th inning lead, as well as a 10th inning lead, setting up an opportunity for David Freese to be the hero.
