This video will explain you, how to find lost phone using IMEI Number easily.
If you have lost your android mobile phone, and worry about how to locate it, find it and if its switched off and you think its stolen and you want to delete your personal data from your mobile phone, then welcome to my channel.
Hello guys this is Nilesh Kamble and in this video we're going to see how to find your lost mobile phone. Before that, if you have to subscribe to my channel, please subscribe for more Technology related videos. Also, like and share with your friends.
So, there are 2 cases when you lost your mobile phone
Case 1: You have missed place your mobile phone and its switched off, not able to find it, and its stolen. Then, you must worry about your private data, like photos, videos etc.
Case 2: You have missed place your mobile phone and you are able to ring it from other mobile, but sadly it’s on silent mode.
We are going to cover, both cases over here, in this video.
So lets get started.
So, to delete that data and to find the location of your mobile, you must use google dashboard.
In google.com search box type google dashboard.
And open first link from the search results.
You must log in with your Gmail account.
The Gmail account should be the one which you have used while configuring your phone for the first time.
So, after login into google dashboard, you must scroll down and go to Your Location History. Expand, it and it will show you exact address of your device.
If you are not able to reach it, its showing switched off, then this is the location where it was switched off.
Now, you don’t have your IMEI number to file a FIR with Police Station, don’t worry and I would show you how to get your mobile’s IMEI Number.
You must scroll up and go to Android. It will show you android devices you used with this Gmail account.
Expand it and click on find my device and it will open new tab. This will show you all the devices you use with this gmail account and also IMEI Number.
There are two options, Play sound and Enable Secure & Erase.
Playsound will help you to give ring to your mobile, even if your mobile is on silent mode.
Second option Enable secure & Erase data will help you to erase data of your mobile phone. Use this option only if you have lost your android device.
