‘The German King', the story of a Cameroonian prince raised in Germany

Adetokumboh M’Cormack’s latest project, ‘The German King,’ tells the true story of King Rudolf Douala Manga Bell, a Cameroonian prince raised in Germany. It won Best Actor at the Oscar-qualifying Rhode Island International Film festival and has been screened at prestigious Oscar-qualifying film festivals including the LA Shorts, Hollyshorts, and the BronzeLens Film Festival. The actor, producer, and director sat down with VOA’s Daniel Belay in Los Angeles to discuss his inspiration.
