In this video, Jason works on a 1 gallon nursery juniper (Juniper Procumbrens Nana). To help beginners just starting out, he discusses common trouble branches that are commonly cut.  These branches include upper branches, lower branches, eye poker branches, bar branches, spoke branches, parallel branches, and pocket branches.  He also discusses how to start the foundation of your bonsai tree by eliminating and choosing ideal branches.
