Let’s travel to Matka Canyon, North Macedonia, a lake and canyon flanked by dramatic hills and cliffs on either side. You can enjoy hiking, kayaking, or a boat tour. It’s a short bus or taxi ride from Skopje so can easily be done on a half or full day trip, I give my travel tips on getting there, what to see, and which activities to do.
