In my opinion, Barbra Streisand's 1976 version of "A Star Is Born" didn't even come close to Judy Garland's 1954 version. However, I think that her acting was great and the live music that she performed was top rate. She co=wrote the Academy Award winning song "Evergreen" for this movie. There is a scene with her in the recording studio singing this song. Her voice is breath taking. "With One More Look At You/Watch Closely Now" was used as the finale in the film. I have included many beautiful pictures of Streisand from the 70s here. I love the ones with her long, straight hair....gorgeous! Enjoy. Thanks For Watching.
