Lessons learned while migrating from Perspectives

The presentation discusses transitioning from Perspectives to Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).

Perspectives is an Excel plugin that integrates with the TM1 Server, but it will no longer be supported with the release of TM1 V12. PAfE is also compatible with the TM1 Server and offers new features and improved performance.

The transition is expected to be smooth for most users, with 95% of reports working without issues. However, some reports may require additional effort to make them compatible with PAfE. User training and support during the go-live phase are also important aspects of the transition process.
