In this video I explain how to prune jade plants (crassula, aka money plants) and also cover some pruning basics and injury treatment for all plants and trees.
Overgrown jade plants may need an occasional pruning so they can grow healthier and look better.
Like most succulents, jades tolerate prunings well. But like with any plant, it's not good to over-stress or injure our plants unnecessarily. However, it's beneficial to remove problematic branches so that our plant's resources won't be wasted.
Keep in mind, if you do prune your jade plant, don't just get rid off the cut-off branches. You can use them to propagate more jades, as I've shown in a previous video, and make the world a greener, more beautiful place. Good luck!
