Revisiting a six year old video, and finally getting the most out of the grainy film footage. Let me know if there are other old videos that you would like to see improved. The purpose of this test was to evaluate the aggressiveness of the bullet vehicle, a 2003 Lincoln Navigator SUV, and the vehicle and occupant response of the target vehicle, a 1996 Dodge Neon 4-door sedan, in this vehicle-to-vehicle impact mode. Both vehicles were moving at 48 Km/h (30 mph) in a full-overlap frontal configuration. This test was performed at TRC Ohio (VRTC) in East Liberty, Ohio on 10/05/2002. In both vehicles, the driver is a 50th Percentile Male Hybrid III with THOR-LX legs. the passenger is a 5th Percentile Female Hybrid III in FMVSS 208 seating positions.
