SOCAL: Exploring Laguna, Orange County, & LA 🧡

On this stop of our California adventure we hade to make some unexpected changes to our trip, but it worked out perfectly! We had initial plans to stay on the coast & explore the beach towns, but due to the Hurricane that came through we changed our plans and stayed with my (James) family in Anaheim. We truly loved the unexpected change and opportunity to see some family that we hadn’t seen since 2019. Our first day was spent with Kaleb & Skye getting acqi in the beautiful town of Orange. We then spent the rest of the day celebrating my cousin’s birthday with some good food, drinks and company! The next day was the storm day. We spent almost all day inside from the high winds and stormy weather. Once the storms had passed we were able to get out and explore. We went down to one of our favorite beach towns, Laguna Beach. It is so picturesque & has so much great shopping, arts, & food! Our next day was spent exploring West Hollywood. We are fans of the show Vanderpump Rules & had to go get some food at Sur & TomTom. We also took a stroll down Melrose Ave to do some shopping. We ended our evening going to Griffith Observatory to catch the beautiful sites of the LA skyline.

Every trip we go on there are always some unexpected turns. We have learned to roll with the punches and make the best of it. Most of the time it turns out really great & it did this time too! Loved getting to see the things we saw & spend time with family!
