In this video, you will see the door and frame preparation, installation, and three dimensional adjustment (horizontal, vertical and in/out -closing pressure) of the concealed hinge, TECTUS®.
Eight years ago, SIMONSWERK introduced an innovative concealed hinge, TECTUS®, which allows the adjustment of a door in three dimensions (horizontal, vertical and in/out -closing pressure) by simply turning an Allen wrench. This feature provides a simple way to create a perfect margin between the door and the frame, which supports superior functionality and appearance of the entire door unit. In addition, the TECTUS® hinge receives consistently great feedback from architects and designers worldwide regarding its "clean" look, which hasn't been matched by any other manufacturer. One of the most prestige's projects where the TECTUS® hinge has been used is the Armani hotel in the Burj Khalifa, Dubai. Another example of one of our high profile projects is the "Apple stores". The TECTUS® hinge is specified for the doors in all Apple new stores. The TECTUS® hinge is UL listed and is available in different versions for different sash weight applications (up to 200 kg / 440 lbs.). This hinge can be also used for exterior doors, such as entry and patio doors.
