Discover the When, What, How, and Why of Quantum Computing in Agrifood

What is Quantum Computing (QC)? Why should you care? Quantum Computing promises to exponentially increase the speed of future mobile phones, computers, data transmissions, and cloud infrastructure. While QC is not yet mainstream, experts predict it will become a reality from five years onwards. We invite you to spend just one hour with us to explore how QC will impact agrifood systems.

The Office of Innovation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) was created in December 2019 in order to consolidate and strengthen FAO's innovative spirit, including innovation of mindset and innovation of cooperation models. Technological, social, policy, institutional, and financial innovations are considered relevant and applicable throughout agrifood systems.
