It's been really hot here.
It's been really hot here. The summer is holding on even at the start of September. We still get strong winds, hail, thunder and lightning from time-to-time. This one was a little unexpected and, as you will see, the pumpkin patch took a toll. After a few weeks, all was OK although the leaves didn't quite recover.
I'm starting on the terrace refurbishing as it really needs some TLC before the winter.

In Autumn of 2023, I bought a homestead in the heart of Italy in a region called Umbria. It was built in the mid 80's. It needs to be cleaned up and some good TLC. I would like to renovate it to make it more a rustic Italian country house.
