Caribbean Storm will become Major Hurricane in the Gulf

The system in the Caribbean will become a tropical storm soon, and then eventually a major hurricane when it enters the Gulf of Mexico. JAMAICA: Worst weather on the western side (Treasure Beach & West). Conditions go downhill late Sunday. Gusty winds and localized flooding. CAYMAN ISLANDS: Hurricane conditions arrive Sunday night into Monday. Power outages will be widespread. Freshwater and ocean water flooding. Please be sheltered in place by Sunday afternoon. Hurricane conditions will last all day Monday. FLORIDA & CUBA: A strengthening hurricane will impact western Cuba on Tuesday. After that, it is more and more likely impacts will be felt in Florida.
