APRIL 21: The Byodo-In Temple , NICO’s Pier 38 and LONGBOARDS Bar & Grill

What an incredible day our HFA HighSchool Batch reunion had on April 21st! After a meaningful visit to the beautiful Byodo-In Temple in the Valley of the Temples, we headed to Nico's Pier 38 on Nimitz Highway in Honolulu.
The Byodo-In Temple, a Hawaii state landmark, was a peaceful and serene experience. We felt truly honored to be welcomed into this non-practicing
Buddhist temple, where we worshipped, meditated, and appreciated its stunning architecture and history. And how special it was that some of the lovely local ladies in red shirts reached out to be photographed with me - from the kitchen to paradise, l'm forever grateful for the support of my amazing classmates!
I'm especially thankful to my batchmates who showed their love and support by repping my YouTube channel with their
"Lilibeth in the Kitchen" shirts - it truly warmed my heart to see them! Then, it was off to Nico's Pier 38 for some delicious local Hawaiian cuisine to fuel the rest of our reunion adventures. The atmosphere at Nico's is laid-back and casual, with beautiful views of the harbor. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing meal while watching the boats come and go.
We chose to be seated outside, which added some fun to enjoying our food.
After lunch, we made a stop at WalMart Kapolei to pick up some souvenirs to remember our trip by.
Later that evening, we had a fantastic dinner at Longboard, where we indulged in some mouth-watering dishes - the food was absolutely delicious! The camaraderie and memories we're making this week are priceless. We can't wait to see what else is in store!
