Lishi tools have been historically utilized in the automotive industry and NOW they are starting to appear in the residential / commercial lock market in the form of the Kwikset (KW1) and Schlage (SC1) keyways. These are two of the most common residential locks that one can find in North America.
What is so special about the Lishi 2-in-one Pick and Decoder?
It it has the ability to have a true novice learn how to pick open a lock and decode it very quickly! You can literally decode a picked lock IN SECONDS and have a permanent key made!
What are the potential implications?
This makes it so someone could potentially pick, decode, and code cut a key in minutes. This could be done with the best intentions such as for a customer or for the worst of intentions such as someone seeking covert unauthorized entry.
