🔎 Sawyer:
Nashville-based indie pop duo Sawyer was formed in 2015 when Kel Taylor & Emma Harvey began writing together during their freshman year at Belmont University. Their down-to-earth personalities, relatable lyrics, and impeccable harmonies have amassed them a dedicated fan base and opening slots for artists like The Aces, Nightly, and, most recently, Joseph.
We met up with Sawyer earlier this Spring at Nashville’s Popstart Gallery to film and record their stripped back OurVinyl Session. Kel & Emma’s deep friendship and respect for one another’s musical strengths are showcased in their performances of “Unhealthy,” “Halfway,” “Mistake,” and current single “Support Group.” The session was directed by photographer and videographer Josh Kranich.
