This pan-fried Brussels sprouts recipe
This pan-fried Brussels sprouts recipe is so delicious I make it every day! Brussels sprouts potato pan is a simple and super tasty side dish or vegetarian main course. The brussels sprouts in tomato sauce refined with cream has a lot of flavor and tastes really delicious with potatoes! In addition, this vegetable dish is quick and easy to prepare and very healthy.
Preparation of the Brussels sprouts pan with potatoes and tomatoes
750 g Brussels sprouts
600 grams of potatoes
3 tomatoes
1 pepper
150 g vegetable broth
200g of tomato passata
100 grams of whipped cream
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation of potato pan with Brussels sprouts
1. Clean Brussels sprouts, wash and halve if necessary. Cut off the stalk and peel off the outer withered leaves. Cut a cross in the stalk so the Brussels sprouts cook evenly.
2. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut into cubes of approx. 1 - 1.5 cm.
In the meantime, clean, wash and cut the tomatoes into wedges. Wash the peppers and cut into strips.
3. Heat oil in a large pan. Fry Brussels sprouts in it for about 5 minutes, add the potatoes.
4. Add the paprika and sauté while stirring. Pour in the broth, tomato juice and cream. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Briefly cook the tomatoes.
5. Mix the potato starch well with the water, add to the sauce and allow to thicken. Season with salt and pepper. Wash and chop the parsley and sprinkle on top. The delicious Brussels sprouts dish is ready. Enjoy your meal!
