Al-Muthanna ibn Haritha came to madina to meet with caliph Hazrat Abu Bakar siddique (R.A) and to seek for reinforcement against Sasanid Persian Empire After the departure of Khalid Bin Walid From Persian front to Syria. Abu Bakar (R.A) was on His death bed at that time. He called Hazrat Umer (R.A) and asked him to gather the army for the support of Muslim in Iraq against Persians. Hazrat Umar fulfil the last will of Hazrat AbuBakar (R.A) and gathered the troop for Muthana Ibn Al-Haritha.
