This is a short clip taken from a series of lectures delivered by Ayatollah Sayyed Kamal al-Haydari as seen on al-Kawthar tv.
Sheikh Uthmaan al-Khamees in his talk attempts to try and convince the viewers of the following two main points:
1) The Narration of the event of Kisaa and subsquently the revelation of the verse 33:33 is not Authentically found within the Shiite books but rather it is only found within the Sunni books.
2) Bibi Ayesha narrated this Narration in Sahih Muslim and she therefore must have loved the Ahlulbayt (as) for she narrated their praise.
In reply:
1) This Narration of Kisaa is found with an Authentic chain within the Shiite books. The above Narration is just one of them. This particular narration as mentioned by the Sayyed has been authenticated by Allamah al-Majlisi (rah) in Mir'atul uqul.
2) Just because Bibi Ayesha narrated this event in Sahih Muslim does not prove that she loved the Ahlulbayt (as). For the enemies of Islam used to acknowledge the merits of our Beloved Prophet (saw)
