This was the 1st innings of the 2nd test match in April 2006  between Pakistan and Srilanka at Kandy Cricket Stadium in Srilanka. This was Pakistan's Tour of Srilanka in 2006. Muhammad Asif's brilliant spell brought Pakistan into a postion of advantage, which wasn't taken  of later on. Muhammad Asif bowled with great accuracy,  skillful seam movement and quality swing.Muhammad Asif was a master of swing, seam, line and lenth bowling. This was Asif's first 5 wicket haul.
