Sand Dust Coming From Hard Working Locomotives Fighting A Grain Train Up The Long Steep Hill! Steel Coils Train With DPU Working Up The Hill, Friendly Norfolk Southern Crew Gives A Train Horn Salute, CSX Train Gets A Radar Speed Check & Norfolk Southern Train Gets A Radar Speed Check. 7 Trains At Railroad Crossings And Historic House In Kentucky. These trains are in Crescent Springs, Florence And Walton, Kentucky. Did I mention the John Deere tractors?
Perfect weather and awesome trains in Kentucky! I went to several different locations in Northern Kentucky trying to find some hard working trains and some trains with DPUs. I was blessed with some awesome Live Action. Listen to the DPU working hard on the 3rd train. That train is at a railroad crossing in Florence, Kentucky on Totten Lane. I love that spot.
After getting the trains going up the hill out of the Ohio River Valley and getting the heavy train in Florence I went over to Walton. This is where the house sits between CSX and Norfolk Southern tracks. This is the oldest house in Walton and is owned by the city of Walton. Railfans are welcome here and there is a couple of picnic tables for fans to enjoy the views.
Due to popular demand I brought out the radar gizmo again. I used it on a couple of trains. We see how fast the CSX train behind the home is going and then we see how fast a Norfolk Southern train in front of the house is going. Which train is your favourite? What did you think about seeing more John Deere tractors? A few days ago a man was walking down the tracks in Walton and got hit by a train. The train was blowing the horn so I don't know why the man was struck. However, I saw it on the television news and they showed a train passing by with more John Deere tractors. I just thought that was interesting. The train that I filmed with the tractors was Train number 123.
This video also has some scenes from my farm with the Live Action Pets. I took the dogs for a walk through the fields and looked around. The slide show from this video follows the farm scenes. It looks like my farm is going to grow by another 8 acres.
