4K Scenic Drive | Lake Tekapo to Aoraki/Mt. Cook National Park, New Zealand

The drive starts at Mt.
The drive starts at Mt. John Observatory, located next to Lake Tekapo, and heads to Lake Pukaki Viewpoint, where you can see Aoraki (Mt.Cook), the highest mountain in New Zealand.
Then we go on SH80 to White Horse Hill Campground, which is the trailhead of the Hooker Valley Track, to see a close look at Aoraki / Mt. Cook (3,724 m / 12,218 ft), the highest mountain in New Zealand.
It was the best weather day on my trip to New Zealand, and Aoraki stood out in front of the vehicle while driving on SH80.
