In this tutorial you will learn to create 3D organization chart in PowerPoint. You will not only find a step by step demonstration of how to create the graphic from scratch but also see some useful variations of the diagram in business presentations.

In this tutorial, we will show you the method to draw one section of the diagram. You can complete the remaining sections by repeating the procedure you learn in this video.
Let us first go to Auto shapes menu and select 'Oval' tool from 'Basic shapes'. Draw a circle while holding the 'Shift' tab. Change the fill color of the circle to suit your need and remove the outline. Make two more copies of the circle and align them horizontally.
The next step is to connect these circles. So, draw small vertical lines at the bottom edge of each of the circles. Then connect all the vertical lines by a horizontal line. Now that the circles are connected, draw another vertical line from the middle of the horizontal line. Once done, draw a bigger circle at the tip of the vertical line. Select all the elements and group them. This depicts one 'department' in the hierarchy chart.
The next step is to give the PowerPoint organization diagram a 3D perspective.
Right click on the group and go to 'Format shape' dialog box. Under 3D rotation go to 'Perspective' menu and choose 'Perspective relaxed' option. Now that the chart seems to lie flat on the ground you can place some silhouettes on top of the circles to indicate different team members in the organization.
You can repeat the procedure to extend your org chart to include as many 'departments' and 'team members' as you wish.
