Edgar Allan Poe has become a generous Spirit Guide since his death helping people through depression, morose thinking and death/mourning.
Edgar Allan Poe (né Edgar Poe; January 19, 1809 – October 7, 1849) was an American writer, poet, editor, and literary critic who is best known for his poetry and short stories, particularly his tales of mystery and the macabre. He is widely regarded as a central figure of Romanticism in the United States, and of American literature. He was one of the country's earliest practitioners of the short story, and is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre, as well as a significant contributor to the emerging genre of science fiction.[1] He is the first well-known American writer to earn a living through writing alone, resulting in a financially difficult life and career.
Poe's work was likely inspired by his own tragic childhood; both of his parents died while he was very young, and his foster mother passed away when he was 20. Edgar and Virginia were married in 1836. She was 13 years old and he was 27 years old and the couple were first cousins . In 1842, Virginia became ill with tuberculosis. She died of the disease on January 30, 1847, at the age of 24.
A few years after their wedding, Poe was involved in a substantial scandal involving Frances Sargent Osgood and Elizabeth F. Ellet. Rumors about amorous improprieties on her husband's part affected Virginia Poe so much that on her deathbed she claimed that Ellet had murdered her.
The disease and eventual death of his wife had a substantial effect on Edgar Allan Poe, who became despondent and turned to alcohol to cope. Her struggles with illness and death are believed to have affected his poetry and prose, where dying young women appear as a frequent motif, as in "Annabel Lee", "The Raven", and "Ligeia".
According to the DC Theater Arts, there are some accounts that claim Poe did speak with “a very slight” Southern drawl in real life, though others say he did not. It's been said that Poe had a love for the South, apparently feeling the most at home in Virginia, where many people do have Southern accents.
ACCENT: You will hear a British accent come in and out, at times there are American or other countries that the Spirit Guide had a human incarnation but will demonstrate a British accent when channeling. This happens to many channels. The being, Edgar is now in other forms, not just American. He can choose any accent or lifetime he/she chooses. It is the choice of the Spirit Guide. And lastly, Riz’s tongue is accustomed to speaking certain dialects but may not be able to form his mouth in the Southern accent, so the guides resort to British.
LOCATIONS: The Circle of Light has been held for many years in yoga studios worldwide, and then in our old 100 year old house high atop Las Flores canyon in Malibu, CA for seven years. We fit between 30-70 people in multiple rooms every Tuesday night. We had full moon circles outside every full moon with 40-50 people and they were amazing. We had cats and creaky floor boards.
The recordings of the spirit guides was perfected as the years went on, but you will hear various noises, from creaking stairs and floorboards, noises from people, our cats meowing at times. Nothing stops the transmissions but when you are listening on a recording like this, it can be distracting, so please pay attention.
