An always popular cake, the Diplomatica is delicate and quick (if we use ready-made puff pastry and ladyfinger biscuits) otherwise if you want to prepare them at home I'll leave you the links below.
I love it precisely because it has various consistencies, soft, soaked and creamy on the inside and fragrant and flaky on the outside!
With the technique I show you for preparing the pastry, it will remain crunchy and won't get damp even on the second day!
🌡️ Bake the pastry for approximately 25-30 minutes at 190° static 185° ventilated
📝INGREDIENTS:
2 rolls Puff pastry
Waterfall
Sugar
Sardinian ladyfingers biscuits (or classic)
To fill:
600 g Custard
400 g Whipped cream (we add part of it to the cream)
For the bath:
3 glasses of water (or milk)
1 glass Alchermes red liqueur
Candied cherries
Chocolates
Powdered sugar
