In the Torah, we are told that the children of Israel took a physical journey from Egypt to the promise land. In Romans 15:4 and 1 Corinthians 10:11, Paul explains that those things which historically happened to the children of Israel were written for our spiritual learning. In this teaching, we will see how the literal journey of the children of Israel is a spiritual blueprint for ALL believers in Yeshua as the Messiah in living out our faith in Him. For example, Egypt is a type of the ways of the world, its values and its system. Pharaoh is a type of Satan and as well as the anti-Christ. Passover foreshadows salvation in Yeshua. The spiritual meaning of unleavened bread is seeking to live a holy life in Yeshua after being saved by grace through faith. What about the counting of the omer? What about mount Sinai? What about the ten tests in the wilderness? What about crossing the Jordan river? What about the giants in the land? What does the promise land mean? How about Jerusalem? This teaching will answer many questions that you have had in walking out your faith in Yeshua as the Messiah.

This teaching is part of the HHMI Discipleship Program.
