Patched? Schmatched! In this video see how to get the unique heavy gun, "Cryolator" that sits there in a master locked case within the Vault 111 Overseer's office for all to be teased by every new game. Not anymore!
Keep your bobby pins and perks. All you need is a little companion known as Dogmeat. Note: This trick must be done early. Before going to Concord and right after getting Dogmeat. Otherwise he will not appear in the vault ever. This requires one failed attempt to enter the vault. Upon going back up and down again he will appear. He may be reluctant to move so keep commanding him to go up the stairway. Follow the instructions in the video and you'll receive the weapon along with 200 Cryo Cells. This ammo is unique as it doesn't spawn randomly. It can be bought from weapon vendors and it's dropped by Fire Brigadier Protectrons (only in certain city areas).
