We made this delicious caramel nuts tart this time! Nuts are in fact healthy snacks, as they are rich in unsaturated fats, fibre and protein. It helps to prevent blood clotting, maintain a regular heart rhythm and many other health benefits. Hence, we always have some nuts in hand despite its high calorie content. We used these nuts to make Caramelized Nuts Tarts which are absolutely fragrant and delicious! The sweet pie tart crust has a cookie-like texture, crumbly and buttery. The honey caramelized nuts filling is very crunchy, slightly sweetened but not overpowering. Tips to prevent tart crust shrinking and becoming tough and soggy are included in the video too!

=Shortcrust Tart=
80g (1/3 cup) unsalted butter
40g (1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) powdered icing sugar
160g (1 + 1/4 cup) self-raising flour
2g (1/2 tsp) salt
27g (half) an egg
*each dough 22g, makes about 14 tarts (6cm top diameter tart shells mould)

=Caramel Mixed Nuts Filling=
45g (1/3 cup + 2 tbsp) powdered sugar
30g (2 tbsp) water
30g (2 tbsp) honey
40g (3 tbsp) heavy whipping cream
300g (2 cups) mixed nuts (cashew,almond,macadamia,walnut)
30g (2tbsp) pumpkin seeds
30g (2tbsp) golden raisins

所以我们在家常备有一些坚果,虽然知道说它的卡路里偏高。这次的坚果塔我们放了满满像山一样的坚果,真的好爱坚果啊!塔皮有着曲奇一样的口感, 超级酥松、不湿软、富有奶油香。坚果包裹的蜂蜜糖浆味道也超级棒,微甜但不腻。塔皮不回缩不湿软的秘诀都在视频里哦,希望对你有帮助!

=万用塔皮=
80g (1/3杯) 无盐黄油
40g (1/3杯+ 1大匙) 糖粉
160g (1 + 1/4 杯) 自发面粉
2g (1/2 小匙) 盐
