When it comes to footwear selection for working out and training, there are countless options that you can use and ways to approach this topic.

On a weekly basis, I like to use barefoot shoes, cross-training shoes, weightlifting shoes, and running shoes, and rotate them based on how I'm training and what I prefer.

I find this to be a useful strategy for allowing me to perform my best while also accomplishing other goals like building my feet and ankles.

At the end of the day, your footwear selection should be based on things like preferences, comfort, and what allows you to perform your best.

You DO NOT need to go out and invest in four different types of shoes and you may find that you enjoy 1 or 2 styles of footwear for everything.

I think the important takeaway that I would love you to get from this video is that there are infinite ways to approach the topic of using barefoot shoes, cross-training shoes, weightlifting shoes, and running shoes for working out.

Build a shoe line-up that makes sense for your context and that works for your preferences.
