In the final days of
In the final days of the Second World War as the Battle of Berlin erupted, one man was summoned to Hitler's underground bunker. He was tasked with performing one of the most depressing weddings in History, as Hitler had decided to marry Eva Braun inside of the Fuhrerbunker. Walter Wagner was an experienced lawyer who was in the final days of the war fighting against the Red Army. But an SS unit was summoned to get him to marry the Nazi Dictator.
It was probable that Wagner was shocked, but he performed the wedding of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun. His role in the ceremony was pivotal, but after this had been done he went back to fight with his Volkssturm unit. However less than 24 hours after performing Hitler's wedding, Wagner would be dead defending his city.
