We visit a bike park with a difference! It’s free to ride, open every day and offers a great way into mountain biking on a budget!

Dare Valley Gravity Bike Park could set the standard by which all local facilities are judged. This facility was funded by the local council (Rhondda Cynon Taff) and is open 24/7!

With its own uplift service and regular coaching sessions, this venue is all about pushing the progression for young people and beginners, giving potential riders an easy way to access mountain biking.

We head to an Easter holiday session at Dare Valley to meet the riders making these initiatives a success and ride with the youngsters who are hoping to be the mountain bike champions of the future…
