After celebrating 100K views at The Leela Palace in Bengaluru, we embarked on a road trip to Chikkamagaluru, commonly known as Chikmagalur, a nature-lovers’ paradise. Chikmagalur is famous for its rolling hills, lush green coffee plantations, and delicious coffee.

We chose to stay at Bird’s Eye Estate in Chikmagalur, a highland estate near the Muthodi forest of Chikmagalur. The only downside is that it’s a little far from the town, so if you want to disconnect and spend some time with nature, this is the perfect place for you! And that's just what we were thinking as we searched for the ideal weekend vacation to unwind and relax.

Chikmagalur has a plethora of waterfalls and trekking routes for those who want to plan an adventure-filled trip. Hebbe Falls, Manikyadhara Falls, Kalhatti Falls, Madu Gundi Falls, Kadambi Falls, Mullayanagiri, Baba Budangiri, Kemmangundi, Z Point, Kudremukh National Park, Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, Kyathanamakki, Sharadamba Temple, and Coffee Museum, to name a few.
