Empowering Indonesia for 160th Years & Beyond

We celebrated 160th years of our presence in Indonesia and had the honor to host Standard Chartered Bank Group Board and Management Team members in Jakarta.
Throughout the week, we've met with government officials and regulators, delivered financial literacy lessons to students at SMKN 19 Jakarta as part of our Futuremakers programme, and engaged with our colleagues, key partners, and clients.

Our celebration was topped off with a fantastic dinner at the National Archive Building that saw attendance from Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Pandjaitan and Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, among others. It has truly been a momentous series of events to reaffirm our commitment of being 'Here for Good'.
