BMW N42 / N46 Vacuum Pump Seal Replacement - One of the Main Reasons These Engines LEAK Oil

When I bought this 2002 E46 318Ci I was told it uses alot of oil (needs refilling every 700 miles).
My initial thought was that the valve stem oil seals needed replacing as its a common issue on these, but when I found oil dripping on the exhaust (see Part 2 video), I hoped it was just the vacuum pump seals which are also a common failure point on these engines.

In this video we change the pump seals, which took around 90 minutes in total including cleaning the pump, which had accumilated a lot of oil.
