What it Means to be a Les Clefs d'Or Concierge - A Letter From My Mum

A few months back I
A few months back I was invited to participate in the “talk show” portion of the Educational Day at this year’s International Les Clefs d'Or Congress (conference). Part of my participation included creating a video that included my mom. And while attending the Congress in Cannes, I was finally able to share it. My mother was in the audience, and we "premiered" this video at the Palais Des Festivals. Talk about an unforgettable moment!
For those who have followed along, it was at this annual "Congress" in which I was honored with the exciting award of “International Best Young Concierge” just 4 years ago! And now, to be able to share the stage with some of the best and brightest in the industry yet again was such an honor.
I have to say, to get to come to Cannes AND speak onstage at the Palais de Festivals was... whoa, mind-blowing. Sharing what I love... the passion about our profession, the future in travel, and of course, telling my story through video... all of this with my colleagues, friends, from around the world has been such a heartwarming and highlight of my career.
A big thank you to all who have supported along the way. Friends, colleagues, my hotel The London West Hollywood, and to all of you following along, thank you!
