Amazon S3 Glacier Instant Retrieval is a new archive storage class that delivers the lowest cost storage for long-lived data that is rarely accessed and requires millisecond retrieval, such as medical images or news media assets. You can now choose from three Amazon S3 Glacier storage classes, which are purpose-built for data archiving and providing you with the highest performance, most retrieval flexibility, and the lowest cost archive storage in the cloud.
