Soft Chapati made at home with a very detailed demonstration of each step from making the dough to rolling and cooking.


Ingredients:

2 Tbsp yeast
1 Cup water
1Tbsp oil
1Tsp salt
2 Cups plain wheat flour


Method:

Start by placing the yeast, in a big bowl add water, oil, salt, and flour. Mix all ingredients until combine very well the dough become nice and smooth.

Cover and let the dough rest for 20 minutes. Divide the dough into equal portions shaped into balls. Roll out balls into large discs. These are Chapati. Heat a tawa or pan. Place a Chapati on it and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat. Flip and cook again on the other side for 2 minutes.  Enjoy!
