The new BMW X6 is
The new BMW X6 is a car full of contradictions. Because:
1. A modern SUV should be pretty. And the X6 is not pretty. It is stylistically controversial at best, especially when viewed from the side and rear.
2. A large SUV should be spacious. And the X6 is not spacious. It really is tight. And it has an impractical trunk.
3. A modern SUV should have a hybrid or plug-in drive. There is no X6 like that. In our version, we had a legitimate six-cylinder diesel with one turbocharger.
4. SUVs are not suitable for off-road driving. But the X6 works. With the off-road package it is well protected against damage, thanks to pneumatics it has a gigantic ground clearance and a very efficient four-wheel drive. Only, for some reason, someone decided to combine the off-road package with 22-inch rims🤦♂️.
5. A BMW SUV should drive great, almost sporty. The X6 with off-road package and pneumatics is not sporty. Not at all.
So here we have a big BMW, which prefers to drive on the sand sand and mud instead of city centre, is cramped and ugly, and drives like a Mercedes on bends and highways. Where's the point here? Where's the logic?
