How BPM leads to Process Mining and Predictive Analytics

How did BPM lead you getting involved in process mining and predictive analytics? As we started listening to the voice of the process, we started to see the weakest links. Those were the opportunities that we had to look into. There were problems going on with the financial markets and our company was funded by a private equity firm approximately $1.5 billion. And of course, being privately owned, they were looking for some quick low hanging fruit to improve. Then they wanted more game changing transformative process improvements and the only way to do that was to educate the people, the users with a with a methodology, and we will understand what those metrics were all about and BPM methodology was perfect. We really wanted to look at metrics - there were so many metrics to review. We wanted to measure the events that matter. We wanted to turn them into tasks execute them. We also started making predictions about the future behaviors because looking at the past behaviors you know what that group was going to do. And because of those predictive analytics, we would be proactive with the controls in place, so you know that was a result of our process mining and utilization of predictive analysis.
